THIRD BHARAT YATRA

He come to Agra passing through Manekpur. Then he went to Vraj. He celebrate the festival of Jamastami in Gokul. He made a swing out of a cloth. He place the Thakurji in it and began to suring it. He then went to Girirajji. Sri Govardhannathji appeared in dream of the affluent businessman of Ambala city in Punjab and aksed him to build a new Mandir for him o Giriraji. Thereafter Sri Vallabha went round Vraj as he did on previous occassion.. While he was on this third journey he came to know that the new Mandir had been completed. Hence he returned to Girirajji. On the 3rd day of bright half of the month Vaisakh in the year 1507 A.D. or S.Y. 1564 Sri Nathji was intralled in the new and spacious Mandir .

VIJAYANAGAR :


After making all arrangements for the smooth functioning of the Seva of Sri Nathji in the new premises, he again started on his interrupted Yatra. He had once again reached his native place Kakravad in South. Ther he came to know that a great debate was being conducted between the Siva Acharyas and Vaishnava Acharyas in the court of Krishna Deva Raya - the Emperor of Vijayanagar. It was of unprecedented proportions. He at once proceeded to Vijanagar. That was the last day of the mighty discussions. The doormen were instructed not to allow any new in cumbent to enter the court. Sri Vallabha came and stood at the .... of the court. But the doormen were terribly impressed by the brillance on the face of Sri Vallabha. The latter sent word to the ruler Krishna Deva Raya himself come to the enterance of the court to receive him with great honour. He was conducted to a seat. The president of the debate was the head of Mahva Pitha - one Acharya Vyasa Tirtha - with his permission Sri Vallabha started arguing with the Pandit's of Sankara Mata. ( a Mata is complete ..... of a particular philosophical thought - for example Advaita Mata). These new discussion ran for 28 days. Ultimately Sri Vallabha achieved victory over them. All were pleased by his victory. Thus Sri Vallabha had established hs "Sudha Advita Brahmavada" in the presence of scholars of all religious Sects.

Rja Krishna Deva Raya had ordered holy waters to be brought from all sacred places with flowers of gold and wish the holy watre Sri Vallabha had been honoured by what is known as "Kanakabhisekha." (Abhisekha in an annurmted bath given to prominent people on specific ocassion.) For one whole weak this Abhisekha ceremony continued - various metals being used in process. All these costaly metals were offered to him as grants. Taking the consent of the present Acharyas and learned scholars the Ruler put the victorious "Tilak" on his forehead. He was also honoured with a title of : "Akhanda Bhumandalacharya Vary Chakrachudamani Jagad Gur." The grants given by the king were not accepted by Sri Vallabha because they were vitiated by being associated with bathing water secondly he made a principle of not accepting any "Bhents" if the donor is not his desciple. On the request from Sri Vallabh all the objects offered to hims as "Bhaent" were distributed amongst the deserring Brahmins present on the occassion. When the whole congregations saw this mighty sacrifice they were all smilten with surprise. Raja Krishna Deva Raya and his whole family offered theru selver to become the desciples of Sri Vallabha. Now as a "Guru Dakshina" the king offered aplate full with one hundered gold mohurs to Sri Vallabha of these he had selected only seven "Daivi" gold coins. He got "Nupurs" (ankcets) prepared out of the gold and presented to hthe deity of Sri Vithalnathji present in Vijayanagar.

Form here Sri Vallabha continued his Yatra. In the year 1509 A.D. or S.Y. 1566 he once again reached Adel thus finishing his their Bharat Yatra. It took seven years .

Thus we find that when he was about 31 years of age he had spent about 18 years in wanderings round the country. During these wanderings he had been exposed to severe climative erigencies. Without caring for the hardships of the journeys on uneven grounds he had continuously travelled bare footed. He made his camps under open sky and underneath trees. All his life he made food wish his own hands. He had recited Bhagavata wherever he had an ocassion to stay for considerabal time .

He had personal experience of the up and downs of the people o the society. He had observed the bleak deteriourated condition of Hindu religion. He encouraged the Hindus to become fearlen and observe their religious practices. He offered protection to Hindu Dharma and uplifted the cultural heritage. He brought a new a wakening in the then Hindu public.

During these three voyager he had established his doctrines based on Vedas, Brahma Satras and Bhagavata thus refuting other contentens. His Sudha Advaita Brahma Vada was given credence during this preiod abd basing on these Vedc principles he had established new "Bhakti Marga" called "Pusti Marga." He made women and low caste people claimants to this new Bhakti Marga. He had made the secrets of Bhagavata, Purnan explicit. He wrote several books. He did all this while conducting the Vignorous Yatras
